Honouring the Scottish Commandos and raising funds for Scottish Veterans Residences, Breaking The Laws 30K offers a memorable challenge for runners taking part solo or as a relay (team of 3), with a further option of a scenic 10K circular walk around North Berwick and Balgone.

Location and Distance

Starts and finishes in North Berwick with a beautiful route broken into three relay-friendly legs.

• 30K total distance

• 640 metres of ascent

• Roads, trails and hill sections

• Fully marshalled throughout

Route

• First leg
  The route starts with a climb of North Berwick Law then follows the John Muir Way to the beautiful wee town of East Linton.

• 2nd Leg
  From East Linton you head up Trapain Law via the River Tyne and return to East Linton.

• 3rd Leg
  Back to North Berwick and as there’s no hill on this section it can suit a relay team with differing abilities.

Blast Running Ltd has pledged to donate £5 per runner/team to the Scottish Veterans Residences. This charity provides supported housing for all former members of the UK Armed Forces who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Their services are located in Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow.
