Marathon Qualification & Course Measurement
The route has been measured by an official Scottish Athletics course measurer and is licensed by Scottish Athletics as a marathon distance course.
If you intend to use your result as a qualifying time for another event, such as the London Marathon, this certification will usually satisfy organisers' requirements. Acceptance remains at the discretion of the individual event organiser.
Distance certificates and licence information are available on request via hello@blastrunning.com.
Relay Teams
Teams may consist of between 2 and 6 runners.
Every runner must complete at least one full lap.

Water Stops
There will be water stations every 2 miles - at Gypsy Brae and by the flagpole.
You may also leave your own marked bottle on the table.
If you can carry your own water all the better but we will provide multi use plastic and compostable cups.
As we don’t have easy access to a drinking water tap it would be super helpful if you could bring your own water for after your run so that we don’t run out for the runners still out on the route.
