An officially measured mile along Silverknowes Promenade. The flat tarmac route will take runners on a speedy no-turns race with an inspiring coastal backdrop.

The direction of the race will be decided on race day, depending on the wind. This allows us to guarantee no head wind and therefore a fast race, with records and PB's bound to be broken!

Should you enter the ELITE or OPEN event?

If you are male and aiming to run a sub 5 minute mile OR you are female and gunning for a sub 6 minute mile then you are in with the ELITES! Otherwise, you are best to go in the OPEN event.

A Scottish Athletics Licenced event.

A £2 levy will be applied to non SA members, which goes in full to Scottish Athletics.
