The Scottish Mile is now in its 2nd year for 2023 and we are looking forward to seeing you run your best mile on the 4th June!
ONLINE ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED. You can enter the Open Event on the day by coming along between 9-9.30am to the reg tent by The Boardwalk Cafe, Marine Drive.
This year is slightly different as there are 2 events for you to choose from:
1. The OPEN EVENT is open to all runners of any age and does not require any affiliation to a club or national association.
2. The BRITISH MASTERS 1 MILE CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT can be entered separately by UKA registered athletes aged 35 and over. If you are not a member of the UKA you can do this at sign up.
2022 saw a British 1 mile record broken (Fiona Matheson, F60, Falkirk Veteran Harriers, 5:31:3) and we can't wait to see who turns up with their A game in 2023. We can't guarantee you a tail wind however we CAN make sure that you don't have a head wind on our flat, tarmac, no-turns, coastal route. How can we do this you may ask? We decide the direction of the race on the day depending on the wind.
The Scottish Mile 2023 will take place at Silverknowes Promenade, EH4 5ES, on Sunday 4th June from 10am.
